28 mei 2023 · I was able to fix it by force uninstalling it through the cmd prompt and then reinstalling from the website.

Create a new administrator account on Windows and install the EA app again on that account. Make sure that your antivirus is not blocking any files.

I had this problem today, I fixed it without uninstalling anything. By going to the referenced install file path, into "EA Desktop" which was empty.
I've had this happen at least 3 or 4 different times within the last 3 months. I just use the EA App installer to repair the program... and then wait for it to happen again. It's dumb that it even happens. It's pretty irritating, to put it lightly. Origin wasn't the best, but I don't recall it ever ...

Exactly the same thing happened to me. It seems that the eaapp executable and uninstaller is missing in the EA Desktop folder. I guarantee I havent deleted it and I have no viruses on my computer. Have you found a solution for this??

What do you mean, the crash deleted all the hard drives? If you could boot back into Windows, not everything was deleted. Let me know what exactly disappeared. I'd also suggest using Malwarebytes to run a virus scan. Download it (the free trial is fine) from here: https://www.malwarebytes.c...

Thank you for your help, but the problem seems to have fixed itself. My computer updated last night and perhaps that had something to do with it.
